Machine Operator

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Machine Operators for projects located in the Cedar Rapids, IA area. This is a full time opportunity and the pay rate is up to $20/hour based on experience and skill level.  Job Scope:        

• Working with Copper materials 
• Operating a splitter pack or tandem machine 
• Casting machine operation
• Place metal spools into a machine and calculate the width of the metal
• Set up machine and cut the metal to size
• Work with forklift to load materials into machines
• Melt metal into 20x 5 bars
• Use overhead crane to lift bars out of furnace
• Palletize spools and wrap them on conveyor packaging machine 

• Must have 2 year of heavy manufacturing experience
• Must have 1 year of forklift experience; certification not needed 
• Must have all proper PPE 
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
