Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Sheet Metal Mechanics for projects located in the Madison, AL area. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $34/hour based on experience and skill level.  Job Scope:         

• Designing, assembling, installing and repairing sheet metal duct systems and equipment 
• Industrial and commercial work 
• Using tools and machinery
• Install metal duct into intricate and functional structures 
• Interpreting and understanding drawings and sketches or building plans 
• Using various tools to measure, cut, bend and shape metal according to fit or offset
• Fastening pieces of metal together 
• Repairing damages metal sections or replacing parts as needed 
• Inspecting and testing installed sheet metal systems 
• Regularly inspecting and maintaining equipment and tools 
• Installing sheet metal ducts, vents or partitions
• Adjusting sheet metal installations to optimize performance and balance air supply per specifications  
• Other tasks assigned 

Requirements: 

• Must be able to pass a background check 
• Must have a valid drivers license and social security card
