Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Travel Lift Operators for projects located in Camden, ME. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate of up to $26/hr based on experience plus $140/per diem for Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. If you are a Lift Operator eager to demonstrate your knowledge and skills while learning new ones, this is your chance to advance in your career!

 

Job Scope: 

  • Hauling, launching, and moving boats 
  • Proper and safe operation of the 100 ton marine travel lift, 60-80 ton hydraulic trailers, and forklifts 
  • Properly secure vessels to docks, seawalls, etc.
  • Inspect vessels for damage while hauling
  • Report damage 
  • Monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to make sure machinery/equipment is working properly 

Requirements: 

  • Must have sound knowledge of preparation and application of various prep, solvent, and bottom paints
  • Must understand the proper and necessary use of protective materials
