Electrician

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring an experienced Journeyman Electrician for projects located in Portland, OR.  This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $40-50/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:         

• Install and repair wiring 
• Electrical fixtures 
• Power equipment 
• Components of machinery and equipment 
• Following electrical code manuals, specifications, schematics and blueprints 
• Circuit breaker panels 
• Install and connect power supply, wiring cables, conduit and electrical apparatus for machines and equipment 
• Diagnose and resolve problems in electrical circuits systems and equipment using testing instruments and equipment
• Operation of equipment, tools and company pickup truck

• Oregon LME License
• Valid Drivers License
• Knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring and operating principles of motors
• Knowledge of local electrical codes, ability to read blueprints, schematics, and written reference material
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to use hand and power tools and some related PLC related experience 
• Experience with troubleshooting and repairing all systems
• Minimum of 5+ years experience
