Maintenance Technician

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Maintenance Technicians for projects located in Albuquerque, NM.  This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $20-22/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:    

• Perform basic equipment diagnosis for both electrical and maintenance issues 
• Troubleshoot and repair all standard electrical components 
• Detect minor equipment problems and correct them 
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment such as; forklift components, gearboxes, cylinders, pumps and valves 
• Repair and replace worn or defective parts 
• Troubleshoot, install and/or repair AC/DC motors, starters, relays and drives 
• Install new equipment 
• Perform preventative maintenance per planned schedules 
• Clean and lubricate machinery properly 
• Inspect equipment and operating conditions
• Other tasks assigned 

• Must have an understanding and equipment in all phases of 110-480volt systems; with higher voltage experience preferred
• Must have welding and machining experience  
• Must be able to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints 
• Must have graduated an industrial Apprenticeship program or 2 year Technical school with a minimum of 3+ years of industrial experience
