Machinist

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Machinists for projects located in and around Tampa, FL. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate of up to $30/hour based on experience & skill level.  If you are a Machinist and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:

• Machine all parts as required to exact specifications
• Set up & operate large swing diameter lathes
• Set up & operate long bed lathes
• Take accurate measurements with precision measuring tools
• Machine parts per drawings in large to small lathes
• Keep a clean/safe work area
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• 10+ Years of Experience as a Manual Machinist 
• Must be highly Experienced with Steady Rests & Live Centers for Long Machine Parts in Horizontal Boring Mill, etc.
• HS Diploma or Equivalent
• Ability to interpret drawings
• Spray welding abilities/Experience Preferred
• Machinist Certification or Apprenticeship Preferred 
• Technical Knowledge & Experience in Operating Manual Lathes & Manual Mills
