Industrial Painter

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Industrial Painters for projects located in the Milwaukee, WI area. This is a full time opportunity and the pay rate is $18-23/hour based on experience and skill level.  Job Scope:      

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as necessary
• Operate spray guns to apply two-part polyurethane paint to products ensuring even coverage and high-quality finishes
• Adjust spray gun settings and pressure levels according to product specifications
• Perform touch-ups and repairs as needed to ensure product quality
• Monitor paint levels and equipment functionality, reporting any issues to supervisors
• Maintain a clean and organized work area including proper storage of paint and equipment
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must pass Competency Test, a Spray Test, and Preemployment physical including drug screening
• Minimum of 2 years experience with two-part polyurethane spray gun painting up to 65 psi
• Experience with automotive painting 25 psi and 45 psi is a plus
• Ability to measure, compare and perform shop calculations to meet customer specifications
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Attention to detail and a strong drive to succeed
