Traveling Structural Welder

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Traveling Structural Welders for projects located in and around Red Bluff, CA. This is a second shift opportunity with a pay rate of up to $30/hour based on experience & skill level plus $125/per diem for travelers of 60+ miles from the job site.  If you are a Structural Welder and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:

• Structural welding with flux core & MIG 
• Weld on pressure vessels in industrial setting
• Work with FCAW, GMAW, SMAW, carbon arc welding, etc. 
• Interpret engineered drawings
• Follow redline process
• Recommend modifications and improvements when applicable using weld symbols and dimensions
• Troubleshoot & repair consumable failures such as spring liners and tip nozzle insulators
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• 4+ Years of Experience in the trade
• Ability to pass Weld Test 
• Ability to read blueprints
• Ability to operate various hand & power tools
• Must be able to obtain AWS Certifications
