Welder

Tradesmen International is looking to expand our team of qualified Trade Professionals for current & future projects in and around Colorado Springs, CO. Most positions are first shift with a pay scale of $30-35/hour based on experience & skill level with Travel Work Available. Job Scope:

• Support crane repair and installation work inside steel mills
• Work on cranes and bridge components
• Structural stick welding on cranes and related components
• Repair and installation of overhead cranes inside active steel mills
• Work performed to AWS D14.1 standards (cranes & bridges)
• Reading and working from blueprints and weld symbols
• Performing repairs, modifications, and some fabrication as needed
• Taking direction from a supervisor and working independently without constant oversight

Requirements:

• AWS D14.1 Certification required; must have already or able to obtain it
• Structural Stick Welding Experience
• Fabrication experience is a plus
• Comfortable working in industrial/steel mill environments2+ Years of Experience in the Field
• Basic Tools for the Trade
• Proper PPE must be worn: Have your own Hood and Gloves/Leathers
